#3 NXT Championship: Tommaso Ciampa (c) vs. Velveteen Dream

This time, they'll be opponents on a much bigger stage

Last night's tapings opened with a remorseful Johnny Gargano acknowledging his failures, that he'd become what he hated most, and that Tommaso Ciampa's title reign is his fault. Velveteen Dream was quick to interrupt the confessional, declaring that Johnny Wrestling was Johnny Failure and that it was his time now.

GM William Regal made a match between the two, which Dream would go on to win.

Although nothing is official yet, it looks like Gargano's star is falling out of the title picture and Dream's is rising into it. With many of the other biggest names otherwise occupied, this one looks like it will be certain.
