Sting to fight for Vince Mcmahon against Authority at Wrestlemania 31?

Sting and Triple H at Survivor Series

As mentioned earlier, WWE are in plans to make Sting vs Triple H happen at Wrestlemania 31. Sting made his much-awaited debut at Survivor Series where he interfered with Hunter’s plans and put The Authority out of power by helping Team Cena.

However, The Authority were brought back to power by Seth Rollins who used guest host Edge as the fall guy and forced John Cena to reinstate the Authority. So, from next Monday Night Raw they will be running things again and the decision of their return to TV was planned all along but was moved up as per reports.

Although some people within the WWE are against the idea, Triple H vs Sting is on for the grandest event at the Levi Stadium. But what is more engaging are the suggestions that have been made to WWE creative regarding the bout. It’s being said that the “Control of WWE” angle has been proposed where Triple H will represent The Authority while Sting will be fighting for Vince McMahon.

You may remember at one point WWE wanted to do a similar storyline with Steve Austin for WrestleMania XXX but it obviously didn’t work out. This storyline with Sting hasn’t been confirmed, but it was pitched.
