It has been a while since the WWE Universe has heard the glass-shattering entrance theme of Stone Cold Steve Austin. The WWE Hall of Famer was last seen almost three years ago in Dallas for the 38th edition of The Show of Shows. Will he return tonight, as WWE RAW prepares to make its Netflix debut?
WWE has already selected several top wrestlers for the upcoming major event. Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan will face off, and the same goes for SmackDown's Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa. Iconic wrestlers such as The Rock and John Cena are also scheduled to make a special guest appearance. Now, Stone Cold Steve Austin may be the next on the list, and it all has to do with an incredible drone show WWE put up, advertising RAW's season premiere on the streaming giant.
Lighting up the night sky in Los Angeles, WWE had a drone show promoting RAW ahead of its Netflix debut in the Intuit Dome. The show featured the logos of several WWE Superstars, including some mentioned below. However, one superstar's logo popped up in the ad. The star hasn't been advertised for an appearance on the show, and he is Stone Cold Steve Austin.
This may be a hint that The Texas Rattlesnake will be in the City of Angels tonight. Of course, at the end of the day, this is all just a matter of speculation.
The last time Stone Cold Steve Austin was seen in WWE, he hit Vince McMahon with a Stunner
As mentioned earlier, Stone Cold Steve Austin was last seen at WrestleMania 38. That was close to three years ago. At the time, he made an appearance on Night Two of The Showcase of The Immortals, shocking the entire WWE Universe, which had just witnessed Vince McMahon defeat Pat McAfee.
It was a shocking moment, and one that came after McAfee had bested the former WWE Chairman's golden boy at the time, Austin Theory. This is when Stone Cold came out, just 24 hours removed from his No Holds Barred Match against Kevin Owens. He promptly hit Theory with a Stunner before stepping into the ring with McMahon.
The two looked at each other for a while before sharing a beer. But as all previous interactions between the two men had ended, Austin quickly Stunned the 79-year-old.
Of course, it didn't end there, though, as the former WWE Champion stunned Pat McAfee as well. Should he make an appearance at RAW on Netflix, fans will undoubtedly be eager to see who he stuns tonight.
