There are a number of stars who could step up to Dolph Ziggler at SummerSlam

Shawn Michaels and Johnny Gargano are reported to be quite close

Shawn Michaels could have dropped a huge hint on SmackDown Live this week when it comes to Ziggler's SummerSlam match. The WWE Hall of Famer came to the ring wearing an NXT hat since he's been working as one of the coaches alongside Triple H in NXT over the past year or so.

NXT is in Toronto the night before SummerSlam next month, which means that many of the biggest stars from the brand will be at Michaels' disposal if he needs a call up to add to the match. Interesting options include Johnny Gargano or even Tyler Breeze since Breeze vs Ziggler is a feud that WWE tried once before but it failed. In the control of Eric Bischoff, the outcome could be different and Breeze could finally get the push he deserves.
