The first of two matches for Asuka

SummerSlam 2020 will be one of the biggest nights of Asuka's career. Thanks to Naomi's victory against Bayley on SmackDown, the women's Grand Slam Champion Asuka will compete for the SmackDown Women's Championship against Bayley first.

Asuka had already secured a RAW Women's Championship match at SummerSlam 2020 by beating Bayley on RAW. But she also secured a SmackDown Women's title match by winning the Triple Brand Battle Royal.

Bayley has been a great Champion for over 315 days now - and that may not stop anytime soon. Bayley's recent losing-streak could be an indicator of a big win coming at SummerSlam 2020.

#6. Sasha Banks (c) vs Asuka - RAW Women's Championship

An epic rematch

Sasha Banks is only the RAW Women's Champion due to a technicality - via count-out. It was allowed in the match and Asuka chose to rescue Kairi Sane from her assault by Bayley - sacrificing the RAW Women's Championship in the process.

Asuka doesn't have Kairi Sane by her side for SummerSlam 2020. And she's going to struggle a bit to beat Sasha Banks in a match that we expect to take place immediately after the SmackDown Women's title match.

This will be Asuka's second match of the night at SummerSlam 2020 and we expect her to overcome Sasha Banks clean to win back the RAW Women's Championship.
