#2. Keith Lee - A potential Bobby Lashley opponent?
Keith Lee's first match back in over five months happened to be against Bobby Lashley. The WWE Champion held an open challenge and it was answered by the returning Lee, who got a great reaction.
However, the ring rust in the first week was real as he was unable to put on a convincing performance against Lashley. The latter was victorious and Lee would go on to lose to Karrion Kross before beating him a week later on RAW.

Keith Lee is still an important star in WWE. It's highly possible that if he wasn't replaced by John Morrison at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view, he would have won the United States Championship instead of Riddle. Even a few months into his main roster career, he was looming in and out of the WWE title picture.
When Drew McIntyre beat Keith Lee in early 2021, it was a setup for Goldberg to return. When Bobby Lashley beat him upon his return in July, it was another setup for the Hall of Famer's return. Lee will benefit by being a future challenger to Lashley, perhaps at a pay-per-view. It's hard to imagine Keith Lee dethroning The All Mighty, however.
