Every time Bobby Lashley gets through a major title defense, there is always hope about a dream clash against Brock Lesnar. Lashley went so far as to admit that he returned to WWE in 2018 with a Lesnar clash in mind.

At first, WrestleMania 37 seemed to be the perfect stage for The Beast Incarnate's in-ring return and a match against Lashley. That didn't happen and the talk of his return seemed postponed.

WWE then announced the return of a full-time touring schedule from mid-July, leading to hopes that Brock Lesnar would be back on time to face Bobby Lashley at SummerSlam. That didn't happen either.

While Goldberg is still a big opponent for Lashley, the match against Lesnar is the biggest one possible. It's a dream match that WWE is seemingly obligated to fulfill if Bobby Lashley retains the WWE title at SummerSlam. It could headline any major pay-per-view, and hopefully, the rumors of another delay in Brock Lesnar's talks with WWE aren't true.
