At least half of the people reading this article would agree that a match between Goldberg and The Undertaker was among the top dream matches even before we knew how WWE bookings worked.

Even though age was a major factor in the match, the two men still had a lot of potentials to pull off a really good match to satisfy the crowd.

Now that the match is over, many of us are still wondering why in the world did it take place in the first place. With all due respect to the two legends, the match was full of “shocks and surprises” for all the wrong reasons.

There were multiple botched moves, and some botched finishers could have resulted in major injuries. WWE should have taken all this into account before agreeing to this First Time Ever match more than a decade too late. This is all on WWE and the writers involved.
