In an immensely rare incidence, the WrestleMania card is far from settled. Apparently, WWE has a ton of work to do to set the card. A bulk of the cream of the crop is directionless heading into the event. The likes of Daniel Bryan, AJ Styles, Braun Strowman, The Undertaker, Baron Corbin and Triple H, don't have a clear-cut trajectory to the biggest event of the year.

WWE Super ShowDown will set the stage for WrestleMania's top matches. Any ambiguities that remain about WrestleMania's championship matches will be removed, some matches and segments will act as precursors to WrestleMania season's hottest story-lines.

For example,The World Championship matches will determine the champions leading into WrestleMania. The rivalry between Roman Reigns and Corbin will give us a clear idea of both stars' paths to Mania.

WWE could also further the story-line between Randy Orton and Edge at the event. The Rated-R Superstar could re-emerge at Super ShowDown to issue a challenge to Orton.

Potential singles matches could sprout from the Gauntlet match. Andrade could find a potential rival at Super ShowDown. One thing is for sure though: WrestleMania will seek definition and direction at Super ShowDown.
