Rey Mysterio was added to the Tuwaiq Trophy match in place of Rusev this past week, but he never actually became part of the match since R-Truth was able to dominate until AJ Styles eliminated him and Rey Mysterio was then left to take on The Phenomenal One.
Mysterio didn't come out to the ring when his music hit and it's questionable as to whether he was even in Saudi Arabia since the beatdown took place backstage and he was never seen in the arena. The former World Champion was worth much more than a beatdown at the hands of the OC so that The Undertaker could step in and take down Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows.

Rey Mysterio doesn't even have a problem with Styles or The OC. If WWE were going to take anyone out of the match, why wasn't it R-Truth, since he's seen as more of a comedy star. Instead, it felt as though Truth had the match that Mysterio should have had. It was a strange situation that ended with Undertaker winning a Trophy without even taking his coat off.
