I was fortunate enough to interact with Ricochet a few months ago when I asked him who his dream WrestleMania 35 opponent would be. Not surprisingly, one of the first names that he brought up was 'The Phenomenal One' AJ Styles.
I am perfectly aware that Ricochet is part of the tag team division at the moment, but from the looks of it, it is a tag team that's comprised of two strong singles players, unlike say two individuals with the same gimmick like The Authors of Pain. I can certainly see the team breaking up down the line and Ricochet going his own way.

For once, AJ Styles will not be the workhorse in the match because Ricochet can do things in the ring that even Styles perhaps cannot. I'm guessing that Styles has been an influence on Ricochet as a wrestler, growing up.
It could be the perfect old school vs. new school match!
