#1 Brock Lesnar's status for Summerslam
Will Brock Lesnar return at Summerslam?
That has been the question on The WWE Universe's mind ever since Kurt Angle canceled the Universal Title number one contenders match at Extreme Rules, but it looks like things are only going to get worse from there. In fact, there is now speculation that Lesnar will not be returning anytime soon!

According to Mark Johnson from PWInsider, Lesnar not appearing at SummerSlam could be due to the fact that the WWE only have the Beast signed for a couple of dates, and that WWE intends to utilize Lesnar’s services for dates other than SummerSlam.
Not only does this mean that The Universal Title won't be defended at Summerslam, it also marks the second pay per view that the big red belt wasn't defended on. The first was at Backlash, where Reigns versus Samoa Joe served as the main event and the second one was at Money in The Bank, which was headlined by the annual ladder match.
In the end, fans are getting frantic about getting to see Lesnar again and even more frantic for someone to finally take the belt off of him. With that being said, WWE needs to be careful with how they do this, especially since they run the risk of driving fans off with this kind of nonsense, but maybe it will work in the long run if WWE paces it the right way.
