Tensions to rise between Roman Reigns and The Usos tonight? Exploring likely fallout

A recurring story on SmackDown is that of The Usos gradually losing favor in the eyes of Roman Reigns. They weren't able to capture the Undisputed Tag Team Titles and later got into the bad books of Solo Sikoa. Reigns has taken matters into his own hands to make up for their failures, and has been repeatedly putting them down, thus showing the widening cracks in The Bloodline.

Jimmy and Jey have an opportunity to redeem themselves in the eyes of The Tribal Chief on SmackDown tonight. They will be facing Rey Mysterio and Santos Escobar after a backstage confrontation last week. The Ones are logically most likely to win, given their tag record, even after losing the championship at WrestleMania.

However, the upcoming SmackDown episode may have a surprise in store. The latest reports mention that tensions between Roman Reigns and The Usos will continue to rise. This will most likely be due to Jimmy and Jey's loss against the Latino World Order, given that Reigns and Sikoa will feature in a promo segment with Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn.

A fallout between members of The Bloodline before Night of Champions will heighten the anticipation of a potential interference costing Roman and Solo their tag team title fight. However, one defeat is unlikely to have such an impact on The Tribal Chief. It will simply contribute to the list of errors by The Usos, becoming another cog in the wheel of The Bloodline story.

Last week, Roman Reigns forcefully demanded an apology from Jimmy Uso. Now he may drag in Jey too. The Right Hand Man has an on-and-off relationship with The Big Uce and could be the first to snap in such a case on WWE SmackDown tonight.

Roman Reigns and The Usos are set to have a confrontation soon

Rather than focusing on Roman Reigns' next challenger, WWE has subtly told fans that most of the story revolving around him will be based on The Bloodline. This could lead up to the summer since no SmackDown star has been developed to face him yet.

For those unaware of the ongoing rumors, Night of Champions may not be the only time Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa team up. WKRD Wrestling reported that there are ongoing talks of pitting two stars against Jimmy and Jey Uso at Money in the Bank in July.

Both teams are also rumored to clash at SummerSlam on August 5. The Usos' face turn could pan out anytime now.
