Perhaps the most ultimate example of women in the WWE being seen as sex objects was the infamous bra-and-panties match, where the object was to strip your opponent down to her underwear.

Very common during the Attitude Era and the Ruthless Aggression era but phased out during the PG era, it saw the likes of Torrie Wilson, Stacy Kiebler, Candice Michelle, Melina, Ashley Massaro and even Trish Stratus and Lita take part in this match, but we won't be seeing the likes of Sasha Banks or Carmella compete in this match, that's for sure.
