Though the feuding with Daniel Bryan may eventually be the best rival for The Miz when it's all said and done, John Cena is still the best rival of all-time for The Miz currently because two different feuds ended at WrestleMania.

The first was in 2011 when Miz was WWE Champion for the only time in his career thus far. Miz defeated John Cena in the main event of WrestleMania XXVII to retain; however, Cena would defeat him a month later at Extreme Rules.
The next WrestleMania feud would involve each's significant others with The Miz and Maryse took on John Cena and Nikki Bella at WrestleMania 33 in Orlando, Florida. The skits and the lead-up to that match were hilarious as you can see in the video below.
