WWE has announced that former NXT Tag Team champions The Ascension will be on the next week’s RAW. On the December 12th episode of Smackdown, a vignette aired showing The Ascension with face paint and shoulder pads hyping about their debut. However, tonight’s RAW aired a vignette which mentioned that the Ascension is coming next week.
The Ascension was started as a stable in 2011 with Kenneth Cameron, Ricardo Rodriguez, Tito Colon, and Raquel Diaz, but now became a tag team with Cameron and O’Brian, who renamed their names to Konnor (Conor O’Brian) and Viktor (Rick Victor).
They both won the NXT Tag Team Championship against Adrian Neville and Corey Graves, and held their title reign till a day short of a full year, before losing it to Kalisto and Sin Cara at NXT Takeover: Fatal 4-Way Event.
