Everybody expected Shayna Baszler to win last night and to win big. She did so, eliminating all five other competitors in the Elimination Chamber. This solidifies the rocket push she's gotten since making appearances on the main roster last fall, and finally arriving full time after the Royal Rumble. For the first time in a long time, Becky Lynch suddenly looks like she's facing a real, powerful threat.

On the other hand, when the match actually happened, the Becky Lynch vs. Shayna Baszler encounter bombed hard at Survivor Series. WWE has so far done a good job building the feud, but Becky Lynch and Shayna Baszler's respective match histories doesn't suggest they'd do well with each other. Both of them have numerous lackluster title defenses to their names. There is a risk here.
WWE will have to continue to build the match properly to mitigate the risk. But so far, the company has done a good job. We'll just have to see what happens over the next month!
