The biggest winners and losers of last night's Raw (April 8)

Winner: Sami Zayn

Sami Zayn returned last night, delivering a great promo and having a great match with Finn Balor. He called the company a "toxic environment." That makes him two for two on the night.

We'll now have to see where the superstar shakeup takes Zayn, or whether this is a one night only thing with him, but he made the most of his return from a long injury hiatus. Is this a new character direction for him or is it just going to be another one hit wonder?

WWE has a propensity to book Sami Zayn in bad angles, so remain skeptical that the company won't return to form at some point soon, especially in the post-WrestleMania slump. Lest we forget, it was at this time last year that Sami Zayn was booked in that abysmal rivalry with Bobby Lashley that greatly hurt the standing of both men.
