The biggest winners and losers of last night's SmackDown (November 1)

Loser: The Miz

The Miz was supposed to be interviewing the new Universal Champion, Bray Wyatt, last night, but that couldn't be arranged, and Tommaso Ciampa crashed the party instead. This led to a match between them which was quite good, with the former NXT Champion having his arm raised in victory in the end.

The problem here is that Ciampa, good as he is, doesn't look like he'll be sent to RAW or SmackDown soon, if ever, so it just leaves the Miz looking bad losing to a guy that most fans don't know. He's supposed to be a mainstay on the main shows, and this won't increase his value at all.

Winners: Rhea Ripley and Tegan Nox

Two people that might one day find themselves on the main shows are Rhea Ripley and Tegan Nox, and they both looked like stars against Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville, filling in for Carmella and Dana Brooke.

Both of them have bright futures and this was just a taste. I'd say that Rhea Ripley's ceiling is the highest, though. She could be one of the main stars in the women's division in the next decade and she looked like the future last night.
