Loser: Daniel Bryan
This was obviously The Fiend's best match to date, but it feels like it could have been so much more than it was. The build was unfortunately rushed. I think most people would have preferred to see this as SmackDown's WrestleMania program, but that certainly won't be happening, especially given other developments on the night.
New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE
Nevertheless, The Fiend looked every bit the terrifying force that he is here. That red lighting is absolutely terrible though and WWE needs to get rid of it ASAP.
Winner: Roman Reigns
Roman Reigns emerged as the sole survivor in the men's elimination match. That's the strongest signal in a long time that his push back to the top of the card has finally begun. As of now, he has to be the odds-on favorite to take on Bray Wyatt for the Universal Championship at WrestleMania 36.
I'm not so certain that's a welcome development for much of the fanbase, but that's the likeliest direction in the aftermath of Survivor Series.
With The Fiend having been built up magnificently well, it will certainly feel like a big deal whenever he finally loses. WWE looks like it wants Roman Reigns to get that rub.
