Loser: WWE's women's division
Last year at precisely this time, Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey had one of the strongest matches on the Survivor Series card. All the while, the then injured Becky Lynch was reaching stratospheric levels in the background.
A year later, this was a complete dud.
Bayley was the biggest loser, as she was obviously there just to take the fall. That undermines her and the SmackDown Women's Championship. The likely match with Sasha Banks at WrestleMania feels cold as ice right now.
I've long been a critic of Shayna Baszler and last night was no different. Once again, she flopped in a big match situation and showed why she should have lost that title ages ago. The sooner Rhea Ripley takes it, the better. The NXT women's division has suffered terribly under her reign.
Becky Lynch, meanwhile, felt cold as well. Her reign is running out of mileage. Something big needs to happen between now and WrestleMania to make fans care.
The women's division needs a shakeup, badly, and setting up yet another angle between Becky and Charlotte at the expense of the Kabuki Warriors, the only interesting women's champions right now, would be precisely the wrong one, but the one I expect.
Now you can rate RAW, SmackDown and NXT matches on Sportskeeda!
