Former WWE Champion The Miz is known for his great promos. However, his memory once failed him, leaving the most must-see WWE Superstar in a very embarrassing situation on live TV.

In 2006, The Miz hosted the third season of the WWE Diva Search. On July 10, the Diva Search finalists appeared on Monday Night RAW for the first time. Miz, who was still fresh on the main roster, had to go over the voting procedure for the WWE Universe, but he lived his worst nightmare when he forgot the phone number.

"If you forget the phone number that everyone has to call to vote in on – guess what? That's not a good thing, and it's not like it was on a board or anything like that I can actually read off of. When that happens, you get this kind of knot in your stomach, you get a panic, you get a cold sweat going, and I never felt that before in my life. And when that happened, I was like, 'Oh my God.' and this is what happened, and I froze," The Miz told the story on Alexa Bliss' Uncool Podcast.

After he stammered on for a few minutes, WWE producers realized Miz was having trouble in the ring and came to his rescue.

"Everything just went white and I was like, 'Oh my God,' and thank God that the producers played someone's music because I was like 'I'm gone, I have nowhere else to go. I couldn't do anything, and it was the most embarrassing thing and I'll never forget it." The Miz added

Following the incident, The Miz went up to Vince McMahon to apologize and promised him he would never forget his lines again. The Chairman accepted his apology. The 40-year-old then went on to become one of the most successful WWE Superstars in history.
