It's been nearly five months since the WWE Universe last saw Jimmy Uso in a ring on SmackDown. Solo Sikoa brutally assaulted his brother, thanks to help from a debuting Tama Tonga on that fateful day.
Since WrestleMania 40, Sikoa has turned the Bloodline into his own personal hitmen, adding Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu to the imposing faction. The group has blazed a path of destruction.
Roman Reigns has already returned to ignite a battle against The Tribal Chief. As things heat up, expect the former multi-time tag team Champion to return. Jimmy could do the next four things If that return happens on this week's SmackDown.

#4. Meet with SmackDown GM Nick Aldis
When stars return to action after a long hiatus, they can be used as surprises. In other instances, the performer meets backstage with the General Manager of their brand.
Kiana James did this after being drafted to RAW, but her star power isn't yet near that of Jimmy Uso. Instead of jumping back into the fire, Jimmy may try to ease his way back into the swing of things by meeting with Nick Aldis.
He can reiterate that he wants to move on from the last few years and go out on his own, even if outside factors ultimately determine that future.
#3. Return the favor by attacking The Bloodline
The last time fans saw Jimmy Uso, he was left in a lifeless heap in the ring on SmackDown. Sikoa made a huge statement with that assault, claiming that he wanted to restore the prominence of The Bloodline.
His group has terrorized DIY, Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, Kevin Owens, and others over the last five months. Rhodes and Roman Reigns have had the upper hand a few times, but Jimmy Uso could make a huge statement on the blue brand.
If he arrives with a chair or a pipe, he could take out each star one by one. That retaliatory act would loudly announce his return to the fray.
#2. Hijack the show to send a message
When a star really wants to make an impact, they take the show over. Daniel Bryan did this during the Yes! Movement. Others have tried to recently, like Drew McIntyre during his feud with Punk.
Jimmy Uso made a habit of moving through the shadows of the crowd so he could do so again on this week's SmackDown. He'd protect himself by hiding behind the loyal fans in the crowd.
He may want to make a verbal statement before getting physical after how he was treated by his brother.
#1. He could save Cody Rhodes from another Bloodline attack
Since they've both endured beatdowns at the direction of Sikoa, Jimmy Uso could re-emerge to back up a one-time foe in Rhodes. Solo Sikoa has promised to resume his quest for the Undisputed Championship and will cross paths with The American Nightmare.
The numbers are not in Rhodes' favor, so Jimmy's eventual return on SmackDown could even the odds. He could even come back alongside The Original Tribal Chief to battle the new-look faction.
If the end game is Bloodline vs. Bloodline at WarGames, the build needs to start somewhere. It took a couple of months last year. This year's road to WarGames could continue with the first person targeted by The Tribal Chief.
