The Judgment Day has been at the center of Monday Night RAW ahead of SummerSlam. Multiple factors have made them among the most interesting parts of WWE television recently, including a few championships.
Damian Priest is the World Heavyweight Champion, while Rhea Ripley is looking to regain her Women's World Title. Finn Balor and JD McDonagh have the World Tag Team Titles as well. The Irish duo won them on the June 24 episode of RAW, but are yet to defend them on television despite it being over a month.
WWE has at times stated that full-time champions must defend their titles at least once within 30 days, so this can be considered a breach. Adam Pearce could use that to threaten to strip Balor and McDonagh of the belts next week, following SummerSlam.
The two of them might be part of a new-look Judgment Day, with Liv Morgan as the leader, which would annoy the RAW general manager. Pearce may demand the World Tag Team Titles back, following lots of shenanigans from Finn Balor and JD McDonagh.
Alternatively, a babyface team could interrupt the segment and challenge The Judgment Day to an impromptu title match. This would be a fun way for Jey Uso and Sami Zayn to become Tag Team Champions.
The Judgment Day will be in action at WWE SummerSlam 2024
We mentioned a potential new-look Judgment Day with Liv Morgan. That's because of the signs that the Women's World Champion will replace Rhea Ripley as the female leader of the group. Dominik Mysterio could cost his Mami against Morgan at SummerSlam, while the rest of the group is already leaning heel.
Meanwhile, Damian Priest may need to worry about one of his own betraying him in Cleveland. Finn Balor could step up and help Gunther win the World Heavyweight Championship, with lots of tension between the pair. These are the shenanigans Adam Pearce could grow sick of on RAW.
