WWE RAW Superstar, The Miz, is one of the most respected names in professional wrestling. Not only has he been with the Stamford-based promotion for a long time, but he has also achieved many accolades that place him among the very best to compete in the ring.
While on paper, Miz has been part of WWE since 2004, earlier in his career he spent time in the developmental territories and on Tough Enough. It was only in 2006 that he was called up to the main roster, where he eventually became the success he is today.
In this article, we will take a look at four of the best moments from Miz's 18 years on the main roster:

#4. First taste of gold in WWE with John Morrison
Within the first two years of being on the main roster, The Miz had already tasted gold as he became one-half of the Tag Team Champions along with John Morrison. During an episode of SmackDown on November 16, 2007, Miz and Morrison beat MVP and Matt Hardy to win the titles.
After winning the titles, the duo had a historic run that lasted 250 days. During this time, they defended their straps against the likes of CM Punk and Kane. While they eventually dropped the belts to Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins, this championship run proved to many that The Miz had what it took to succeed on the main roster.
#3. The Miz becomes the United States Champion
Even though The Miz had proved he was good enough to be on the main roster, it came at the expense of being paired with a partner. Hence, it was important for him to further prove that he was a good singles wrestler as well. He did exactly that when he won the United States Championship in 2008.
To win this title, his first singles championship in WWE, The Miz feuded with Kofi Kingston and was unsuccessful in winning on several occasions. However, during an episode of RAW on October 8, he finally won the title and went on to have a 224-day reign as the US Champion.
#2. Winning the Money in the Bank Ladder Match
Another pivotal moment in The Miz's career came when he became Mr. Money in the Bank. In the 2010 edition of the PLE, he competed in RAW's MITB Ladder Match against the likes of Chris Jericho, Edge, Evan Bourne, John Morrison, Mark Henry, Randy Orton, and Ted DiBiase.
The Awesome One eventually won the match, thus winning the MITB contract and with it the opportunity to challenge for the WWE Championship on RAW. This moment was defining in his career as the promotion booked him to win the briefcase over some big names, which proved they had faith in his abilities.
#1. The Miz becomes the World Champion
While The Miz won the Money in the Bank briefcase in July 2010, it did not take a long time for him to cash in his MITB contract.
On the November 22 episode of Monday Night RAW, Miz successfully cashed in his contract against then WWE Champion Randy Orton, who was fresh off defending his title against Wade Barrett.
This win marked The Miz's first world title in the Stamford-based promotion. The reason this was significant was because the win went on to set up all the success The Miz has achieved in the promotion. Today, not only is he a Grand Slam Champion, but he is a widely respected superstar who is on course to being inducted into the Hall of Fame in the future.
