What's the story?
The Shield reunion has been put on hold because Roman Reigns was deemed unable to compete after a viral illness swept through the Raw locker room. The 'Big Dog' was replaced by Kurt Angle, leading to rapturous excitement from the WWE Universe, however, one person who isn't happy about it is the Raw GM's TLC 2017 opponent, The Miz.
In case you didn't know...
The Miz is leading the team that will make up Kurt Angle, Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins' opponents at TLC 2017. On his side is The Bar, consisting of Sheamus and Cesaro, the 'Monster Among Men' Braun Strowman, and Kane.

The heart of the matter
The Miz decided to express his displeasure at the Monday Night Raw General Manager being inserted into the TLC main event with a couple of, perfectly in-character, tweets,
It seems that The Miz is still sore from his feud with Daniel Bryan earlier this year, and sees that he didn't escape his situation by jumping to Raw.
What's Next?
WWE TLC takes place on Sunday, October 22nd in Minnesota. The Miz has recruited The Bar, Braun Strowman, and Kane to take on what he thought was the Shield on Sunday. However, with the Olympic Gold Medalist replacing Roman Reigns, the Miz might have to make some serious changes to his game plan for this star-studded TLC match.
Author's Take
There is not one person on the WWE roster that can make something seem as personal and insulting as the Miz. He's been going back and forth with Angle basically since the Jason Jordan announcement this summer, but you could've put anybody in this spot, and the Miz would've found a way to go after their character in a way only the Miz can; blending together reality and fiction.
The best part about this, now, is that the GM Miz is targeting is allowed to fight back, which should make for an interesting few months if they decide to turn Angle's return into a story. I wasn't too excited for this PPV prior to these sudden changes, but there's no way anyone can miss the in-ring return of Kurt Angle.
