Big E: Of the three members, Big E may very well have the best chance at maintaining a high level of success. He already has the intimidating presence and has displayed in the past, that he can be taken seriously; as a legitimate contender in the event he finds an opportunity to challenge for a title.
Big E has used his time with The New Day to hone his skills and sharpen up his ring work in the technical areas where he needed improvement. Not only that, but he has also improved leaps and bounds behind the mic.
Before New Day, Big E was not a very good talker, but now he's great and seems extremely confident when speaking.
Kofi Kingston: Kofi came into this situation as the most all-around accomplished performer. He was a former three time United States Champion, four time Intercontinental Champion and had been a Tag Team Champion twice before the two New Day reigns.
Kofi had experienced success in areas where the others hadn't and from the beginning, was able to take more of a leadership role in the group. At the time of The New Days birth, Kofi had pretty much reached a plateau, so to speak.
He was in need of some sort of jolt to his career, which is exactly what happened when The New Day came together.
Kofi has also used this time to improve his promo skills and has developed into a top-tier storyteller. Kofi should land on his feet just fine, in the event the group does part ways.
Xavier Woods: Woods is the brains of the team and unquestionably the most charismatic as well. This is a man who was born to entertain people for a living, which is exactly what he does. Whether it's in the ring, defending the tag titles, or outside of the ring – keeping Francesca finely tuned – Xavier Woods is a showman and a great one at that.
Since the formation and ultimate success of The New Day, Woods has developed into a much better in-ring performer, which will undoubtedly help him moving forward. Xavier was already a great talker and while on the NXT roster, he truly came into his own as an all around performer.
All the tools are there and if he is forced to take the singles route, a lot of his success will depend on how he is booked.
The New Day has developed into much more than just a tag team. They became a movement, and it didn't take long for the fans to gravitate to them. The individual success of Big E, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods is going to rely heavily on quality booking and creative decisions by the WWE powers that be.
They'll only be as successful as they're allowed to be, but as I stated earlier, all of the tools are in place and each of the three are more than capable of achieving some great things as singles wrestlers.
Big E is 30 years old, Kofi is 34 and Xavier is only 29 years young.
With that in mind, all three have plenty of time to see a great deal of success and have a lot left to potentially achieve. The New Day has nothing left to prove. They have consistently remained atop of every list, when it comes to ranking top tag teams.
While many fans probably don't want this ride to come to an end, it could lead to even more opportunities for each individual member. Plus, there is always the very strong possibility of a reunion down the road. So, will they split, or will they remain as they are?
I definitely believe there's plenty of money left on the table for them collectively, as a unit. However, in the world of professional wrestling, change is not only good at times, but sometimes, is necessary.
