The whole world is pretty annoyed at The New Day, and the duo felt it firsthand on Monday Night RAW. Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods were not only ignored by most of the staff, but they were also relentlessly booed by the WWE Universe. But what may have most annoyed them was a conversation they had with Cody Rhodes after their segment.
Cody Rhodes walked up to both of them and spoke about how he had known them for a long time, and that they should be ashamed of themselves. Of course, this all stems from their decision to kick out Big E from The New Day. But, that being said, Kofi and Woods may not take this insult lying down. They could team up with a nine-time WWE champion and target Rhodes. And, in this scenario, the nine-time champion is, Kevin Owens.
Kevin Owens' animosity towards Cody Rhodes is no secret, and at Saturday Night's Main Event, he will finally get his hands on The American Nightmare. But the Undisputed Champion isn't easy to beat. So, should he lose this Saturday, he might need some help in his mission to destroy Rhodes. With that in mind, and with the WWE Transfer Window now in motion, perhaps he could join forces with The New Day.

It would also serve as a trip down memory lane. After all, at one point, KO did want to join the group. So, perhaps this time around they can make it official. But, at the end of the day, this is all just speculation.
The New Day still has some friends in the locker room
Cody Rhodes aside, there were a couple of superstars who showed their displeasure towards The New Day on RAW. Most notably, Alpha Academy and Natalya refused to acknowledge them upon their arrival. But, while it seems as though the entire locker room has turned against them, they still had a few friends backstage.
Chief among them is Karrion Kross. The leader of the Final Testament famously feuded with both Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods earlier this year. But while he was very much anti-Kofi, seeing this new outlook has changed his mind. In fact, he took to X (fka Twitter) to apologize to Kingston, claiming he had him all wrong, and he even praised him and Woods for "banning together as brothers."
Although Kross is just one man, surely there will be others who agree with him. Who knows? Some of them may even come to the aid of Woods and Kingston in the near future.
