Kofi Kingston's chances of winning the WWE Championship are at an all-time high.
Kofi Kingston, is without a doubt, one of the hardest working members on the active roster. He has been putting quality matches, non-stop for the last 11 years. His tenure has been filled with record-breaking Championship reigns. He has 4 Intercontinental, 3 United States and 8 Tag Team Championship reigns under his belt. Mr. 24/7 only needs to win a World Championship before he can be referred to as a "Grand Slam Champion".

Wrestlemania 35 seems the perfect opportunity for Kofi to achieve this feat. He is currently involved in a story-line where he is fighting against all odds to get his WWE Championship match at Wrestlemania. He is expected to challenge Bryan for the strap. If he ends up dethroning Bryan at the Show of Shows, not only will he become a Grand Slam Champion, but also the first-ever Black WWE Champion.
In addition to that, a lot of interesting story-line options (involving The New Day) will also be available from there on. Hard work eventually pays off and it's about time, Kofi gets what is rightfully his.

Ali Siddiqui
Ali Siddiqui is a listicle and feature writer for Sportskeeda Wrestling since 2018. After completing his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, he decided to write for Sportskeeda Wrestling after learning about it through a friend. He briefly worked for The Sportster as well.
Ali's love for pro wrestling dates back to when Randy Orton won a Battle Royal to become the #1 Contender for the World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam 2004. His current favorite wrestler is Cody Rhodes because he's the ultimate throwback babyface. He believes Rhodes has the Surfer Sting's passion, Bret Hart's prop-gifting schtick, a catchy theme like Hogan's, and a kid-friendly demeanor akin to John Cena's.
When he is not doing research for his articles on Google or catching up with the latest in pro wrestling, Ali can be found honing his Data Science and AI skills as he strives to get back into tech in the near future.
