Kevin Owens needs a run with the Tag Titles before becoming a Grand Slam Champion.
Kevin Owens is one those few Superstars who achieved success in both the Independent Circuit and WWE. After having spent over a decade competing around the world, Owens signed with WWE in 2014. He was initially signed to NXT, where his stint lasted only a few months (though he managed to win the NXT Championship during this run). The prize fighter was called up to the main roster in the Summer of 2015.

In less than 4 years, Owens has won the Universal Championship 1 time and the United States and Intercontinental Championships twice. He only needs to win the Tag titles in order to become a Grand Slam Champion. His current run as a babyface will likely result in him getting a massive push and what better way to kick things off than to make him a Grand Slam Champion?

Ali Siddiqui
Ali Siddiqui is a listicle and feature writer for Sportskeeda Wrestling since 2018. After completing his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, he decided to write for Sportskeeda Wrestling after learning about it through a friend. He briefly worked for The Sportster as well.
Ali's love for pro wrestling dates back to when Randy Orton won a Battle Royal to become the #1 Contender for the World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam 2004. His current favorite wrestler is Cody Rhodes because he's the ultimate throwback babyface. He believes Rhodes has the Surfer Sting's passion, Bret Hart's prop-gifting schtick, a catchy theme like Hogan's, and a kid-friendly demeanor akin to John Cena's.
When he is not doing research for his articles on Google or catching up with the latest in pro wrestling, Ali can be found honing his Data Science and AI skills as he strives to get back into tech in the near future.
