Cameron wasn't a well-known WWE star before she joined the cast of Total Divas since she was only seen as one-half of The Funkadactyls with Naomi. Total Divas gave her a chance to open up about her personal life and even introduced her partner Vinnie to the WWE Universe.
At one point during the series, Vinnie actually tried out to be a WWE star, but it didn't work out. Cameron did gain a significant push following her time on the show and even featured in a Divas Championship match at Elimination Chamber back in 2014.

Cameron was taken off Total Divas in 2015 and released from the company the following year after being sent to NXT and having a few months of inactivity.
It was revealed back in 2016 that Vincent Isayan and Cameron had broken up and Cameron has since begun hosting her own weekly podcast alongside her friend Matt Dillon. Cameron also hosts a podcast on Sundays called 'Escape with AJ'. The links to both of these podcasts can be found on her Instagram page.
