#2 from WWE's DX - Shawn Michaels
One of the founding members of D-Generation X, Shawn Michaels' career took quite the turn when he legitimately injured his back as part of a match against The Undertaker at The Royal Rumble in 1998.
Michaels was forced into a four-year retirement which at the time was thought to be the end of The Heartbreak Kid's career. When Michaels returned to WWE in 2002, he became a member of The New World Order and began a feud with Triple H.
This was the beginning of a lengthy friendship between Michaels and Triple H which has led to both men rising in the company over the past two decades. Michaels is a four-time World Champion and was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame back in 2011, after opting to retire following WrestleMania in 2010.
Michaels has since made a number of appearances on WWE TV but for more than eight years he refused to wrestle again, until Crown Jewel 2018 when he teamed with Triple H in a victory over The Brothers of Destruction.
At present, Michaels works backstage in WWE and is one of the men currently overlooking the production of NXT UK. Michaels recently appeared on Monday Night RAW where he was punted by Randy Orton.
#1 from WWE's DX - Stephanie McMahon
Stephanie McMahon is perhaps one of the most popular female wrestlers in the history of WWE. The boss's daughter made her WWE debut when she was just 21 years old and has since been connected to WWE over the past two decades.
When Stephanie McMahon and Triple H married, McMahon was added to the group and it's thanks to DX that she was able to win her only Women's Championship. Of course, the storyline with Triple H and McMahon continued following DX's demise and the WWE COO has since gone on to become part of WWE's biggest power couple.
McMahon is now a mother of three and is technically still the commissioner of Monday Night RAW whilst still making sporadic appearances on WWE TV. It could be argued that McMahon is the most successful former female member of the group.
