Dawkins' prowess extended beyond wrestling, as he achieved national titles in football, track, and even wrestling during his college years.

This competitive spirit translated seamlessly into the world of professional wrestling, where he initially struggled to find his footing as a solo competitor. However, his fortunes changed upon forming The Street Profits with Montez Ford. Together, they have become a dominant force, capturing the Raw, SmackDown, and NXT Tag Team Championships, etching their names in WWE history as the fastest team to achieve the coveted Triple Crown.

History of The Pride in WWE

The Street Profits came back to SmackDown during the 2023 WWE Draft. Weeks later, during an August 4th episode, they took an unexpected heel turn. Interrupting a tag team match, they took out both teams involved, sending shockwaves through the WWE Universe. This bold move aligned them with the returning Bobby Lashley, the trio celebrating their dominance together.

Their newfound alliance led them to their first match as a unit, facing the Latino World Order (LWO) in a six-man tag team battle at Fastlane. Adding fuel to the fire, the day before the event, they strategically took out two members of the LWO, leaving them shorthanded. However, at the event, a surprise awaited them. The returning Carlito joined forces with Rey Mysterio and Santos Escobar, giving the LWO the edge they needed to secure victory.

Despite the setback, The Street Profits continued their journey. Their pursuit of the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship against The Judgment Day was cut short on the November 24th episode of SmackDown. They were about to win, but an interference from Rhea Ripley ultimately cost them the match, marking their return to the face side of the roster. The trio would soon go on to be named The Pride.
