#4 The Club (Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows) vs. Enzo Amore and Big Cass vs. Cesaro and Sheamus – WWE Raw Tag Team Championships

The Club captured their Raw Tag Team Championships from Cesaro and Sheamus at Royal Rumble 2017. They then managed to retain the belts on Raw due to interference from Enzo and Cass.

In the run up to WWE Fastlane, Enzo and Cass earned a title shot against The Club, by beating the former champions Cesaro and Sheamus but were unable to come away with the gold at the underwhelming pay-per-view event.

The three teams continued their rivalry following Fastlane as Cesaro and Sheamus interfered in the rematch the following night on Raw, causing Enzo and Cass to lose for the second night on the trot. The Club would retain their titles once again.

Mick Foley, who was still General Manager of Raw at the time, set up a match between the two teams that had been competing for the Raw Tag Team Championships to determine a number one contender for the titles at WrestleMania 33. The Club, thinking they were always one step ahead, interfered in this match causing both teams to be disqualified.

Instead of them having no contenders at WrestleMania as was the plan, Mick Foley ordered a triple threat match for the titles at the Granddaddy of them all.

As a result of Sheamus and Cesaro’s support of Mick Foley, following his dismissal, they were put in a four-on-two handicap match against the other two teams with their WrestleMania spot at stake. However, The Club attacked their partners Enzo and Cass, and Sheamus and Cesaro made quick work of the Raw tag team Champions, keeping their spot on the ultimate thrill ride.

This match should be fairly entertaining, due to the chemistry between Sheamus and Cesaro and Enzo is bound to be excellent on the microphone as per usual. The Club have not done a lot with the Tag Team Championships since they won them and to be honest, I’ve lost interest in them as Champions.

The title needs to change hands, and I’d like to see Enzo and Cass finally reach the top of the tag team mountain.
