Triple H has been cooking up quite the storm for WWE Crown Jewel 2024. Scheduled to take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on November 2, 2024, the Cerebral Assassin has been doing his best to guarantee an epic show. So much so that he announced three matches for the PLE last night on SmackDown. However, things could change very soon, as The Rock could go behind his back to add a major stipulation to one of the matches.

Ever since he joined TKO Group's Board of Directors, The Rock has taken up the monicker of The Final Boss in the ring. To say he has abused his power as a member of the board would be an understatement. Well, despite watching his cousin fail at WrestleMania 40, he still looks to be on a power trip. With that in mind, he could choose to undermine Triple H and set a stipulation for Kevin Owens' match against Randy Orton at Crown Jewel.

Seeing that Randy Orton got his good buddy Triple H to grant him a match at Crown Jewel, Kevin Owens would be peeved. To be fair, he has been frustrated with the entirety of WWE as of late. So, hoping to take advantage of the situation and perhaps open up a path for him to target Cody Rhodes, The Prizefighter might turn to The Rock and ask him to add a stipulation. Seeing the opportunity to further extend his control over WWE, The Final Boss could make it a 'Loser Leaves SmackDown' Match.

Should he choose to do this, The Rock would gain a valuable pawn in Kevin Owens. One that could prove essential in his war against The American Nightmare. But this is all just conjecture, and there is no telling what the future holds.

Triple H had no intention of booking a match between Randy Orton and Kevin Owens

Whether or not a stipulation will be added remains to be seen, but Randy Orton and Kevin Owens will do battle at WWE Crown Jewel. The Viper tried to get the match made official last week with Nick Aldis, but the SmackDown GM denied the request, claiming orders had come from higher-ups. So, Orton took matters into his own hands and decided to address the power in question.

As one would suspect, the said power was none other than Triple H. After a short conversation backstage, Orton went into the ring and demanded that The Game make the match official. He claimed that the CCO was being hesitant, simply because he was trying to protect KO. However, as was soon revealed, he was not trying to protect Owens but rather Orton.

The 55-year-old did not believe Randy was ready for what The Prizefighter would bring to Crown Jewel. He was of the opinion that Owens had always been a bit unhinged, and now that he felt betrayed, he could be much worse. With that in mind, hopefully booking this match is not something The Cerebral Assassin comes to regret.
