The Rock returned to WWE as RAW made its Netflix debut last night. But it looks like he will be appearing on another show this week. The Final Boss announced that he will visit NXT, but it might not just be for his daughter Ava.
For those unaware, The Rock's eldest daughter, Simone Johnson, is currently signed to WWE as NXT's general manager. After appearing on RAW's Netflix debut, The Final Boss said on his Instagram Live that he would be present on Tuesday's New Year's Evil special. Besides paying a visit to Ava, Rocky could assault Eddy Thorpe for his recent actions.
On the November 26, 2024, episode of the black-and-silver show, a backstage brawl ensued, and Ava got hit by a door after Eddy Thorpe grabbed her arm. Shawn Michaels got her checked and confronted Thorpe after the melee.

A similar incident happened on the December 17 episode of the show, where the general manager declared Trick Williams the winner in a match against Thorpe. As a result, the 34-year-old got in the face of Ava, forcing The Heartbreak Kid to intervene.
After what has been happening with the general manager, Dwayne Johnson may check on her and target Thorpe for causing issues. The Final Boss can even thank Michaels for being by Ava's side throughout it all.
Wrestling veteran pointed out a potential botch involving The Rock and his daughters on WWE RAW
The NXT general manager may not have been present on-screen during RAW's Netflix debut, but her two sisters, Jasmine and Tiana, were seated in the front row. They received their father's People's Championship and watched him cut a babyface promo. However, Vince Russo pointed out a possible flaw after the legend left.
On the latest edition of Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW, Russo highlighted how after The Rock concluded his Instagram Live following his segment, he drove off and seemingly forgot his kids at the arena.
"It's like 'Wait a minute, The Rock's leaving? Without his kids?'. Some of the stuff they do, I swear to God, they live in the bubble. Okay, he's there with his kids, he gives them the title, and now he's leaving without his kids."
It remains to be seen what The Final Boss will do during his upcoming NXT appearance.
