The Rock has spoken. He is set to appear on tonight's episode of WWE RAW, which happens to be the first-ever show to stream live on Netflix. It is one of the biggest episodes of the red brand in its 32-year history, as evidenced by the star power.
The Final Boss will be at the Intuit Dome for the show, with a readymade storyline in place. The Hollywood icon shared a lengthy post about his Samoan heritage, where he also announced his WWE return. That might be a hint towards his involvement on RAW.
The post might be direct confirmation that The Rock will appear at the end of the Tribal Combat Match between Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa. He did dedicate tonight's show to all of his ancestors, including his father Rocky Johnson. As a result, The Final Boss could make a difficult decision.
Sikoa may end up losing to Reigns on RAW, meaning that he would no longer have the Ula Fala. The Rock wouldn't take kindly to that, especially if he was the one to appoint Solo as The Tribal Chief.
The Final Boss might end up firing him for failing to beat Roman Reigns, before announcing to the world that he is The High Chief and is coming after the Ula Fala. This would kick off his program with Roman Reigns, but it doesn't need to culminate at WrestleMania 41.
What's next for The Rock in WWE?
The Rock's next match will likely be against Cody Rhodes, as has been teased since WrestleMania XL. It could be set up following tonight's episode of RAW, with The Final Boss revealing himself as the real leader of the new Bloodline. He could even enter himself into the Royal Rumble Match at number 31, breaking the rules to "earn" a shot at the Undisputed WWE Championship.
His match against Roman Reigns can wait until next year, with enough time to build the animosity between the two cousins. When it comes to The Bloodline, the Hollywood icon's issue right now would be with Solo Sikoa. He can earn The OTC that he will be coming for him, before turning his attention to Rhodes.
