This dynamic made this rivalry even more special. It told the story of a plucky underdog(Mankind) standing up to the powerful Corporation's Rock. It had the audiences at the edges of their seats. Everyone wanted Mankind to win, and his WWE Championship win is one of the most emotional victories in the history of the WWE.
