The 2024 Bad Blood Premium Live Event ended with an unexpected cliffhanger after The Rock returned following the main event. The Final Boss did not utter a word while he stood on the entrance ramp and set his sights on Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, and Jimmy Uso. Before leaving, The People’s Champion counted to three on his fingers and made a slit-throat gesture.
The Rock’s actions left fans baffled, with many wondering what was next for The Final Boss in WWE. On Instagram, The Final Boss posted a video from his appearance at the Bad Blood 2024. What grabbed fans' attention was the conclusion of the post, where Rocky dropped a slight indication about his comeback. The Rock referred to himself as “The Final Boss of WWE” and wrote 2025 with a globe emoji. This could mean that he will appear at the Stamford-based promotion next year.
However, this has now sparked a question in fans' minds: if The People's Champion will only return next year, why did he come back at the Bad Blood 2024 PLE? The Hollywood megastar was shooting in Atlanta, the same place where the event was held, and could have had some free time on his calendar for the day.
Even Triple H mentioned that the business is Rock's DNA, and whenever he gets a chance to show up, he never pulls himself out. The People’s Champion even confirmed his intentions to play a vital role at WrestleMania 41.

Triple H expresses his thoughts on The Rock’s comeback
At the Bad Blood post-show press conference, WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque shared his views on the much-awaited comeback of The Rock at the event. He said that the professional wrestling business was in The Great One's DNA. Whenever he can play a role and has the time, he makes it happen.
"I thought it's amazing, the return of Jimmy Uso, and then The Rock showing up. You have to be the biggest superstar in the world to be able to hit your music, walk out, blow the roof off the place, and I am out. It's epic. I'm thankful to him. With everything he has got going on in his career and his life, he has never looked away from what brought him to the dance and what his roots are."
He continued
"It's in his DNA, it is in his blood, it is who he is. Anytime we are at a place where he can take that 30 seconds from his incredible schedule to come back and feel that electricity that you can only get in WWE, he does it. I am thrilled for it and thankful for him," said Triple H.
It remains to be seen what The Rock has in store for Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes and how Triple H will book him in the future.
