WWE part-timer and Hollywood star The Rock has been engaged in promoting his upcoming movie Hercules and as a part of that schedule he appeared on ESPN Sportscenter this Tuesday morning.
The Great One discussed several matters including LeBron James returning to Cleveland, his career as a footballer, wrestling and acting in a 10-minute long segment. But most notable was the part where he was asked about a future return to the WWE.
Rock replied, "Possibly, yeah," with that ever familiar smile on his face.
Rock then went on to discuss how wrestling in the WWE was the most difficult job even more so than football or Hollywood. He stated that touring 4 or 5 days in a week was more demanding and it took a toll on his body.
The Brahma Bull also recalled his match with John Cena at Wrestlemania 29 where he suffered several injuries during the match. He revealed how he used his hand to figure out an internal injury. After the match he got surgeries due to a hernia, torn adductor and torn abdominal muscle and immediately returned to film the movie.
Rock’s statement puts out the realistic idea of him featuring at Wrestlemania 31. There have been speculations earlier that he could be coming back to wrestle at the next year’s grandest event.
Also, there have been reports about him getting inducted into the 2015 Hall of Fame. That could happen and his match at WM31 could be his way to lay the Smackdown on a glorious WWE career.
