The ruler of the sky and a rite of passage - 5 Matches Triple H must book if WWE Evolution returns to the PLE schedule

There hasn't been a stronger advocate than Bayley for a second WWE Evolution Premium Live Event. The current WWE Women's Champion appeared on the first episode of Cody Rhodes' What Do You Want to Talk About? show to build a case for another installment of the successful all-women's event.

During the conversation, Bayley mentioned that the current setup of the roster would be able to support another Evolution event. The first show utilized retired stars like Trish Stratus and Lita in tag team action. Others like Michelle McCool, Molly Holly, and Maria Kanellis took part in a 20-woman battle royal.

With so many talented women up and down the rosters of RAW, SmackDown, and NXT, it seems like a no-brainer to book another all-female card. Triple H should book the next five matches if WWE Evolution joins the PLE schedule.

New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE

#5. Alexa Bliss takes on the new version of her friend Nikki Cross

Would Alexa Bliss be able to get through to her former friend?
Would Alexa Bliss be able to get through to her former friend?

This would depend on Alexa Bliss returning to action before the end of the year. With SummerSlam in her home state of Ohio, she could pop up in Cleveland to resume her WWE career.

Bliss shares a history with members of The Wyatt Sicks. She was tormented by Uncle Howdy when he was introduced by Bray Wyatt. Bliss also won the WWE Tag Team titles twice with Nikki Cross.

The former multi-time Champion was supposed to compete at the first WWE Evolution event but was injured after her match was scheduled. If someone is going to tangle with The Wyatt Sicks, it would make sense for Bliss to oppose them.

#4. Who has the better moonsault - Tiffany Stratton or IYO SKY?

Tiffany Stratton and IYO SKY have a lot in common, including winning Money in the Bank.
Tiffany Stratton and IYO SKY have a lot in common, including winning Money in the Bank.

IYO SKY perfected the moonsault long before she joined WWE. It became her finishing move in NXT, and she's used it on the main roster. While she regularly performed the move, other stars like Lacey Evans and Charlotte Flair attempted variations.

Tiffany Stratton adopted the same move as Evans but named it the Prettiest Moonsault Ever. Instead of starting on the top buckle, she jumps up each buckle before performing the move.

Since Stratton and SKY are the two women well-known for the moonsault, they should settle the score at WWE Evolution. They've shared the ring during Money in the Bank but haven't faced off one-on-one.

#3. Bayley could teach Roxanne Perez a lesson or two

Roxanne Perez's current character is similar to Bayley's when the latter initially turned heel in 2019. Both women were known for being happy, smiling, easy-going characters who other women on the roster bullied.

Bayley cut her hair and adopted a defiant attitude that gave fans The Role Model and allowed the former Hugger to spread her wings on the mic. Perez has won the NXT Women's title twice—once as a face and once as a heel.

She's the top dog in NXT, but there aren't many current stars in her division who are on her level in the ring. That would necessitate a main-roster challenger in the form of Bayley at WWE Evolution.

Titles could be involved, or it could simply be for the NXT Championship since Perez should be the Champion for the rest of 2024.

#2. Rhea Ripley takes on WWE Legend Trish Stratus

Ripley and Stratus represent the top stars of their respective eras.
Ripley and Stratus represent the top stars of their respective eras.

Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair had a rite of passage when they faced Trish Stratus. While Flair beat her in their only meeting, Lynch split the two bouts with the Hall of Famer. Rhea Ripley has taken over one of the top spots in WWE, and Stratus is still in great shape.

She returned to host Money in the Bank in Toronto and had a staredown with Zoey Stark. The two were allies when Stratus faced The Man. A match against Stark would make sense for WWE Evolution, but Ripley is a much bigger star.

If Mami is turning face after her return, a potential bout could be a sporting match with a post-match angle. Ripley could save Trish from a post-match attack from Stark and her new allies, leading to a future tag team contest.

#1. The Mega Powers explode at the second WWE Evolution

Shouldn't this match be saved for a blockbuster showdown at WrestleMania? It should, but it doesn't mean that the first of a few matches between the two couldn't start at WWE Evolution should it return to the schedule.

Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill have had successes and failures as a team. They had a short reign with the women's tag team titles and are looking to regain them.

The pairing must lead to one turning on the other because some fans want to see the two powerhouses oppose each other. The friends could have a sporting match at WWE Evolution, with the loser turning on the winner.

The post-match attack could keep the winner out of action for a month. When she returned, a challenge could be made for a second match. The second match would lead to a huge fight with a big stipulation at WrestleMania 41.
