The 2017 WWE Feud of the Year between The Usos and The New Day finally came to a head inside Hell In A Cell at the titular pay-per-view with the SmackDown Tag Team Championships up for grabs. The New Day was the team of Xavier Woods and Big E this time with Kofi Kingston watching on from outside the steel structure.

This was only the second tag team match to take place inside of Hell In A Cell. The New Day and The Usos proved to be the perfect rivalry for this stipulation. The animosity had been building over the course of several months of trading the gold, so the emotions coming in were palpable and boiling over into pure hatred.

This Hell In A Cell Match had it all. The use of weapons was creative with Xavier Woods using his signature trombones as well as cowbells to brutalize his opponents. Woods and Big E utilized kendo sticks in the most unique way possible, trapping Jey against the cage with them.

Big E used his speed and strength to beat down The Usos, but they withstood it all and used handcuffs to their advantage to gain control. Jimmy and Jey clobbered Big E with superkicks and hit the Double Uso Splash for a pinfall, but Xavier Woods made the save while still handcuffed. Woods went on a fiery comeback until The Usos overwhelmed him and beat him down.

They rained down superkicks on Xavier and finally laid a steel chair on top of him. The Usos hit a final Double Uso Splash and pinned Xavier to regain the SmackDown Tag Team Championships. This Hell In A Cell Match was fantastic from beginning to end filled with hate, drama and a captivating finish.

The Usos vs. The New Day put the perfect capper on a career-defining rivalry that stands with great tag team feuds of the past like The Hardy Boyz vs. Edge & Christian vs. The Dudley Boys and The Hart Foundation vs. The British Bulldogs.
