Brock Lesnar defeated Braun Strowman.

Everything associated with the Crown Jewel was bad. Even the political tension between the United States of America and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia over the assassination of Jamal Khassogi - a columnist of Washington Post, did not convince WWE to cancel this event.

However, the event itself was disappointing. A few of the preliminary matches in the "World Cup" tournament were watchable. However, baring that, most of the matches in the card did not deliver at all. The only good match of the night was between AJ Styles and Samoa Joe for the WWE Championship.

The last three matches of the tournament were terrible. Brock Lesnar squashed Braun Strowman. Shane McMahon inserted himself in the finals of the World Cup after The Miz was "injured". If these weren't bad enough, the main event was hugely disappointing. Four icons of wrestling - Shawn Michaels, The Undertaker, Triple H, and Kane, were pitted in a lifeless, slow and dull tag team match.
