Like with Del Rio, this is a guy who was exceedingly tough to get behind due to his lack of charisma and forgettable gimmick. It was perhaps for the best, as we already had a terrible champion in Jinder Mahal and undoubtedly Cobin's bland character could result in another terrible champion. Although rumours accused him to have lost the contract due to backstage politics.
