#1. A backstage interaction must push Jeff Hardy in the WWE Universal Championship picture
Roman Reigns needed a lot of assistance to defeat Brock Lesnar to retain his Universal Championship at Crown Jewel. Even though everyone saw how the match ended, WWE still allowed Reigns to walk away with the title.
On Friday night, Reigns called out The Beast Incarnate once again. Lesnar showed up and destroyed The Bloodline to prove a point. Soon after, Adam Pearce suspended Lesnar from SmackDown before facing the wrath of The Beast.

This week on SmackDown, fans will see a few new faces show up on the brand. Reigns will be looking for a new challenger, while Drew McIntyre will be the front runner to challenge The Tribal Chief.
However, WWE must book Jeff Hardy to get into a short rivalry with The Head of the Table. Hardy could use the push on SmackDown. A backstage interaction with The Usos or Roman Reigns could catapult him into the Universal Championship picture.
He could have a top match against The Tribal Chief soon after, and a victory for Reigns will help him get even more heat from the fans.
