#1 To get Roman Reigns over again
Roman Reigns might have returned from a lengthy bout with leukemia earlier this year, but that doesn't mean everyone is behind him yet heading into WrestleMania 35. Unfortunately for WWE, the lackluster response the company has gotten after Reigns return seems to indicate that they are going to once again have to put him on the back burner.
Interestingly enough, not even surviving cancer and coming back stronger than ever was enough to endear him to the WWE Universe and the mixed responses to his first few promos more than proves that. What it also proves is that the company has a lot of work to do in order to make him the top guy again and The Shield will likely play a central role in that.

Think about it! The only time the company was really able to get Reigns over as the top guy was when he was apart of The Shield after last year's SummerSlam. In fact, it was arguably the only way that fans accepted him as champion. Of course, his newfound heelish personality also played a role, but the company doesn't seem willing to do that again after the cancer diagnosis sidelined him.
With that being said, WWE is stuck jogging in place with Reigns as a babyface and absolutely need The Shield in order to give him a boost. It will also allow the company to put off his in-ring singles return, which will be huge while they figure out what to do with The big dog in the long run.
