#2. Isaiah "Swerve" Scott defeated Santos Escobar on WWE NXT 2.0

Isaiah “Swerve” Scott was scheduled to defend the NXT North American Championship for the first time on WWE NXT 2.0 this week. Legado del Fantasma attacked Hit Row before the night began, kidnapping B-Fab and Top Dolla.

Scott was alone but ready to give Santos Escobar a run for his money. He attacked the former NXT Cruiserweight Champion before the bell to gain the upper hand.

The two superstars traded big moves before the fight spilled over to the floor. They exchanged suicide dives onto the NXT 2.0 announce table to punish each other. Escobar channeled his inner Eddie Guerrero and hit a picture-perfect frog splash for a near fall.

Swerve hit a fireman’s carry slam and nearly hit a 450 splash. Joaquin Wilde and Raul Mendoza tried to interfere, but Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams came in to save Scott.

The chaos allowed Scott to send Escobar into an exposed turnbuckle before hitting the JML Driver for the win. Swerve successfully retained his title after a tough match on NXT 2.0.
