#2. Carmelo Hayes got in Tommaso Ciampa’s face on WWE NXT 2.0

Tommaso Ciampa came out later in the night to gloat about his victory against Bron Breakker at NXT Halloween Havoc. He told viewers that he proved his worth to the world once again.

NXT North American Champion Carmelo Hayes interrupted Ciampa to call himself the A-Champion. Hayes talked trash to the NXT Champion and told him to take a backseat.

Trick Williams got in Ciampa’s face and ate a mouthful of fists for his trouble. Johnny Gargano walked out for his match just as Ciampa was making his exit. The two men stared at each other before The Blackheart left.

WWE seems to be high on Hayes, and that is exactly why he is getting such a big push so early. He is a talented athlete, and it looks like WWE is already building a championship rivalry between him and Ciampa.

Meanwhile, the little face-off at the end of the segment was great. Gargano and Ciampa have already had their final fight on the old version of NXT, but things can change with the recent revamp of the brand.
