5 things WWE RAW got right this week: Big E wrecks The Usos; Kevin Owens takes out best friend

#1. Bobby Lashley took out Rey Mysterio on WWE RAW

Bobby Lashley returned to WWE RAW last week and destroyed Dominik Mysterio. He took the young superstar’s spot on Team RAW for Survivor Series after a dominant win.

This week, Rey Mysterio got a match against The Almighty. The main event saw Rey try hard to avoid Lashley’s strength with his speed. The latter finally got his hands on Rey and hit a few impressive moves before the luchador fought back. He avoided getting slammed into the ring post and sent Lashley into it.

The two men continued to put on a good show as Dominik watched on from ringside. The Almighty finally ran Mysterio’s head into the ring post and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Rey finally got Lashley in position and hit the 619. However, Lashley caught him when he hit the splash and applied the Hurt Lock for the win.

After the match, Austin Theory came out to attack Dominik. Adam Pearce then awarded Rey’s place on Team RAW to Theory. The creative team is doing well at rebuilding Lashley as an unstoppable heel.

The match was predictable, but it delivered anyway. However, it doesn’t make sense why Pearce replaced a former WWE Champion Rey with the newcomer Austin Theory.
