#3 FOX spoils top stars moving to SmackDown brand?
In addition to running new ads to promote the SmackDown move to FOX Sports, FOX is ramping up its efforts to showcase the stars of WWE who might be set to appear on the brand when it moves in October.
It was recently rumored that another roster draft is expected to take place in WWE sometime in early October, as WWE looks to be ending the recent "Wildcard Rule" and returning to a hard brand split when SmackDown moves to FOX and NXT moves to USA Network.
In a recent photoshoot conducted by FOX and WWE, which leaked on social media, there appear to be several Raw Superstars who might be making the move to SmackDown in the upcoming roster draft. Those names include Alexa Bliss, Rey Mysterio, Randy Orton, Mandy Rose and The Miz.
The first episode of Friday Night SmackDown airing on FOX Sports on October 4th is set to feature all of WWE's top stars, including legends such as Ric Flair, Sting, Hulk Hogan, The Undertaker and more, so the first episode of the show will not be an indication of the eventual SmackDown roster. The belief is the final SmackDown roster will be decided after the roster draft.
